Richard P McDermott

Dr. McDermott with more than 40 years of experience as an owner of 35 businesses is a serial entrepreneur. These businesses, without exception, were engineering based and ranged from Hybrid buses, software, metal forming, machining, and assembly. The largest, with 7 sites, 1,400 employees in 2005 had annual revenue of $420 million. As co-founder, co-owner, and President of Signakey, Richard has been involved with the company since 2010, devoting time exclusively to the company since 2015. Utilizing many business relationships developed over four decades, he has led the company into a broad array of new initiatives.
